Yoshifumi Oshima

■Introduction
Oshima has worked with themes of wind and water since 1976, producing sculptures predominantly for solo exhibitions and outdoor sculpture displays. In recent years he has started creating works that viewers can climb on and move as well.
He participated in the 2010 Seto Inland Sea International Arts Festival as a representative of the Onba Factory team.

Luca Roma

■Introduction
Combinations of wood sculpture and metals explore themes of the links between nature and the artificial in his work. He strives to rely not only on his skills but also on what the materials will bring out as well. He is furthermore aware of creating pieces that are meant to be enjoyed not just visually but through the sense of touch as well.

■Introduction
Takano’s works take as their motif the rich natural splendor of Furano in Hokkaido. Many of her works take the theme of “Snow Crystals”. One of her “Snow Crystal” pendants was used in the 2005 TV drama, Yasashii Jikan (Gentle Time), and attracted a great deal of interest to her work.

Akiyo Konishi

■Introduction
Konishi opened her own shop and studio, Fusenkazura, in Aji-cho in Takamatsu City, in July of 2006. Using a technique called carving, she brings forth motifs on the surface of the leather, including those from ukiyo-e designs of Utamaro as well as traditional family crests. Her goal is to create leather products that will be loved the world over, with a new Japanese cultural flair.
